About our Coach
Coach Julio Arjona is dedicated to the development and growth of premier soccer and futsal players in the Washington DC metropolitan area. Coach Arjona is the director and founder of the MSC United Academy, which he developed to build teams with highly technical, top level players that meet the highest standards. His teams have a multi-cultural flavor, with players of many races, religions, creeds, and languages. Coach Arjona believes it is imperative that players transfer their pride in their cultural background to their love for the game of soccer. With over 25 years of coaching experience, Coach Arjona teaches game fundamentals, decision making, problem solving, and individual skills in a demanding practice and game environment. He believes that a sound foundation of fundamental technical skills is critical for all elite players. He works with his players to produce quick minds and quick, intelligent moves on the field. His philosophy and teaching style are based on hard work, dedication, and a deep love of the game of soccer.
