Busy Schedule for the OBGC teams in Spring 2012

The Roadrunners (NCSL- Division 1) will be facing a very busy schedule and top competition in preparation for the Maryland State Cup. After a 2nd place in NCSL Division 1 in the Fall 2011, the team has entered three March tournaments- Arlington Spring Invitational, Annandale Premier Cup (the #5 ranked tournament in the country and the #1 tournament in Region 1) and the Freestate Spring Breakout.
United Premier, after a strong season in NCSL Division 5- was promoted to Division 4 for the Spring 2012 season. Also preparing for the Maryland State Cup, the team will participate in the MSC Cherry Blossom Classic in late March.

2012 Northeast Regional Futsal Finalist

Congratulations to the United Academy Barcelona Team for finishing in 2nd place in the United States Northeast Regional Futsal Tournament in February 2012 in Wildwood, NJ. Coach Arjona's United Academy team is made up of players from the Olney teams. The team went undefeated in it's bracket round and semi-finals before losing 2-1 in the finals. ...

2012 Maryland State Futsal Championship

Congratulations to the MSC United Academy Blue team for winning the 2012 Maryland State Futsal Championship. The team had an exciting run through the State Tournament going undefeated on it's way to a third straight Maryland State Championship. The team is made up of players from the OBGC Roadrunners team. Congratulations guys on your "three-peat"!
Roadrunners Win Virginia Beach Columbus Day Tournament

The Roadrunners were the winners of the Boys U13 Premier Division at the Virginia Beach Columbus Day Tournament held October 8 and 9, 2011 at the Hampton Roads Soccer Complex. The team had 3 wins in bracket play, then fought to keep a 1-0 victory in the Championship match.
